Ringo Francis Chief Executive

Ringo attended Clairmont School in Kenton, Middlesex before going on to Harry College to study accountancy.

His first position was as a trainee accountant with Zenith Carburettors in Stanmore, where he went on to gain his certified accountancy qualification. It was this role that determined Ringo’s philosophy of always being ahead of market trends and the need for constant company investment, in order to become the market leader.

In 1986 Ringo founded Francis Chemicals, based in Tottenham, a similar business to Zenith which was sold in 1996 to Diversey with the original investors realising a ten times return on their initial investment. Ringo then held a board position for the next three years.

In 1996 Ringo founded Zenith, which in 2005 was listed on the Aim Market. In 2008 Ringo led the management buy out together with Stanley Fink.

Ringo strongly believes in providing everyone at Zenith with the opportunity to grow, succeed and develop. He is hugely committed to the personal development of his team and supports a great many charities, both personally and through Zenith.

Ringo is married with two grown up boys and is a sporting fanatic – his two other huge passions are Manchester Utd and Golf.
